Wonderful vintage 1940s 40s dress.

✧ custom made -- one of a kind!
✧ light tan ‘curly knit’ over a pale silky lining
✧ burgundy + green three dimensional crocheted flowers + leaves
✧ blousey top + nipped in waist
✧ A-line skirt
✧ fastens up the back with a covered plastic zipper

This dress is absolutely fabulous and so perfect for the winter months! I’ve never seen a dress with such large three dimensional flowers; this piece is truly one of a kind and so unique! It would look marvelous paired with tights and a dab of your deepest burgundy rouge, and would be perfect to wear to a holiday fete, to a winter wedding, for a fancy schmancy party, or for any other especially special event. Absolutely incredible and so so special!

please note: I am uncertain of the exact era from which this dress dates as the style is so unique, but it certainly has a very 1940s look and is no newer than the 1960s at the very newest.

This beautiful dress was custom made over 40 to 60 years ago and is in phenomenal condition -- it is truly a treasure and one of a kind! There is not another one like it in all the world!!

Excellent vintage condition with no stains, tears, or visible mends. There are a couple of small holes in the curly knit (one on the bust,) and quite a number of pinholes and speckling on the lining (but of course this is not visible when the dress is worn.) Some of the yarn is missing over a flower bud ‘dangle’ at the right shoulder. This dress is clean and ready to wear; it has been priced with both its (minor) flaws and its virtues in mind. :)
