Portable 20 Ton Reverse Press Brake / Press with Removable / Changeable Dies. "PDF file ONLY".

I wanted to change the title because it was confusing to some. The old title listed it as a 20 ton hydraulic press brake. While it does use a 20ton hydraulic bottle jack to operate the system, it does not have an external hydraulic pump with flow rates. The Bottle jack is a self-contained unit that can be operated with air pressure or manual jacking, depending on which the buyer prefers and/or purchases.

This design will allow you to build a quality brake at a very affordable price. I designed this Brake with two things in mind. First, cost effective and second, easy to build using only simple shop tools or something that you could pick up at the local hardware store. If you’re looking for a simple, affordable build that won’t break the bank and will allow you to expand your building capabilities, then this press brake is for you. You can build this right in your own shop without the need for CNC, Plasma, Millwork, Lathe, or any other specialty equipment. JUST SIMPLE TOOLS. This brake design will also allow you to have unlimited possibilities on Die configuration because this design has changeable dies. Want a different shape or radius? No problem. Build the punch & die according to the specifications that will be listed in the instructions and start producing the designs you can dream up. Wheel can be added to help with maneuverability.

As you can see in the pics, It will bend 1/8" aluminum 36" wide very easily. It allowed me to build my own 180qt custom boiling pot.

*** Update *** I have bent 3/16" aluminum at full 48" into a 90* angle with no issues. I have also bent 1/4" aluminum at 24" width. The 24" of 1/4" aluminum was limited to the size of the material that was used. I haven't tested it on a larger section as of yet.
