This listing is for 3d printed plastic housing only. No mold included. The color of the housing may vary depending on PLA availability. This will not affect the quality. Message me if you would like a specific color.


MOLD MAKING TIPS:
I use Oramask 813 Stencil Film to as a sticky base. This prevents the object you are molding from floating up. It sticks really well and does not leave residue when you remove it. Remove any dirt or oil from the object before you place it, to ensure it sticks. You can buy it on amazon here: amzn.to/3q8p1fh. If this technique fails, get out the hot glue! For the bottom part, you can use many materials, such as seamless tape,PVC sheet, ABS plastic sheet, PLA sheet, acrylic plate etc. I strongly suggest using HOT GLUE around the base for bigger molds.

SUMMARY:
Each mold housing is designed and 3D printed by me using durable PLA. The mold housing has a wide base so that the contact paper will stick, as well as prevent leaks.

USAGE:
This housing is intended for use with casting silicone. Do not pour resin on, or in the mold housing, it will not come off. DO NOT use to cast resin or epoxy.

MATERIALS:
Each housing is made from environmentally friendly PLA. Polylactic Acid (PLA) is a thermoplastic material derived from renewable resources such as corn. It is also biodegradable.

CARE:
Clean your housing after each use. You can clean the housing by wiping it with Isopropyl alcohol or gently washing it with a mild soap.

DO NOT:
Do not put it in the dishwasher or oven. Heat will cause warping. Do not leave it in the sun. Do not use extreme pressure.

PROCESSING TIME:
Each housing is made-to-order and may take 1-21 days to print before it will be shipped. I print on demand in the order I receive them.
