Vintage Jordanian Kilim Runner Rug
Description
This is a handmade, beautiful, colorful, vintage, and unique Jordanian Kilim Runner. It is made of wool. Each piece tells its own story. It adds color to any room and makes your home warm and cozy.

Mostly, Jordanian Kilims have a rather simple pattern and style of weaving. These of course vary from tribe to tribe, although the differences are not too extreme. The Bedouins of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan used to make different kind of weavings and textiles as floor coverings, tent decoration or for transportation such as camel bags.

This has originally been a very long piece and it has been cut in to two pieces, which you can find both here in the store. One is 335 cm, the other 182 cm long, the rest is identical.

Care
All rugs have been cleaned well but naturally should be vacuumed from time to time. Also, rugs and kilims should be moved from time to time. Please keep in mind that these are vintage items, roughly between 40 and 80 years. These are used items and imperfections, or small repairs are normal and only confirm that you will receive a handmade product.

Beautiful hand made Arabic coffee cups, exactly as shown on the website. Reminds me of my many years in the Middle East. Just a word to the wise, be careful to read shipping costs before buying!
