This is absolutely one of the most beautiful pieces of china painting I have ever found. Measuring 12 and three-quarter inches by 9 inches, with a half inch rise of a lip around the edge, it is pierced at either end for hanging.

Hand painted and signed Laraque, the plaque is without a date but appears to be a mid century work.
The porcelain painting pictures a young Vietnamese woman with an umbrella, carrying a bottle. The remarkable artistry of this piece will jump out at you.
In very very good vintage condition, it is without chips or cracks. The surface of the painting has some tiny scratches that have occurred over the years, but nothing that interferes with the overall look of the piece. I had to move this picture around in the light to see any faults - see the pictures and judge for yourself.
