Classic black fire opal pendant made with a 925 sterling silver or 14k an opal bead accent with the top quality grade natural opal gemstone in AAA and AAAA quality grade ( if available) featuring predominantly red and green glowing flashes of bright fire visible against the dark background with dramatic contrast.

The opal is also offered in AA quality grade which is not supposed to be sold in this shop, but I am trying to get rid of many darker stones for a very cheap price. Some people might actually prefer dark gemstones without flashing fire or loud intense colors, so it is offered as an alternative option to the original item and differs from the better quality black opals by a lot.

The opal is offered in oval faceted 8x6mm, 9x7mm size gemstone set in a traditional pendant setting with a delicate chain in matching vermeil color in rose and yellow 14K gold and the traditional 925 sterling silver Setting with or without rhodium plated finish.

The opals in this category are stunning and mostly noticeable for the primary red fire color which is the predominant color.

The fire is visible under specific angle of viewing with the same stone looking entirely black if seen from a different angle or with the change in the light intensity when the more light is directed at the opal the brighter the fire colors are. is absolutely stunning and is quite rare due to the abundance of red fire in its play of color. Most opals have mild coloring with only a hint of red and mostly green and blue colors, which is not true for this gemstone. This opal is throwing flashes of intense red color as it interacts with the light.

No matter what size of the stone or what finish you choose this necklace will not leave you disappointed.
The cab is excellent and there are no inclusions or defects visible in this opal.
