The Alexander Salt & Pepper mills are handmade and designed to meet specific standards of high quality and functionality with a unique grinding mechanism. These exquisite pepper mills perfectly grinds peppercorns for the utmost in flavour.

These pepper mills have a grinding metal mechanism that has a 38mm diameter 3DCut system designed to really grind the peppercorns and not just crushing them maximizing flavour and aroma.

Pepper Grinder:
To adjust the grind of your pepper simply turn the screw at the bottom of your pepper mill clockwise for a finer grind and counter clockwise for a coarser grind.

Salt Grinder:
The salt mill has a strong food safe plastic mechanism (40% glass), 38mm diameter and stainless-steel shaft to prevent corrosion. The salt mill has a strong plastic grinding mechanism and can be used to grind a variety of salts; coarse, Himalayan and even grounded salt. Grinds directly on food.

Note: The dome on the salt mill is made looser to avoid salt residue from sticking due to not being filled as per recommended.

Salt Mill: Use Himalayan crystals (not too large) Greek or Kosher Salt. Do not use Salt Flakes, Grey or wet salt as these types of salt will clog the mechanism.

Note: These Salt and Pepper Mills naturally patina over time, adding desired character and that vintage look. To restore the golden look of brass, clean with brass cleaner.
