A Regency Era pattern for a Dress, Spencer, Petticoat and Fichu, designed to fit 18" dolls, available as an immediate downloadable pdf file.

Inspired by an 1805-1810 Regency style outfit by Black Snail Patterns made for human sizes, this version is redesigned to fit 18" dolls and includes a pattern for a Fichu and a Petticoat with sleeves or sleeveless options.

The dress pattern has an option for a long train, and the Spencer can also be made with a train. The front closure can be made to meet in the middle with a hook and eye or clasp, or to overlap at the front.
Since many Regency dresses from this era are made from a sheer fabric, a basic petticoat pattern is included, which can be made with sleeves or sleeveless.
Also included is a Fichu pattern if you prefer to hide the cloth bodies of most 18" dolls.

Suggested Materials:
Dress: 1/3 yd 44”w; Dress with longer train: ½ yd 44”w fabric
Dress bodice lining: 13”w x 6.5”
28” of 1” wide bias binding for hem (dress with train)
16” of 1/8” w narrow ribbon, cording or elastic cord
Short Spencer: 6”h x 12”w scrap each for fabric and lining
Spencer with short train: 1/3 yd 44”w; with long train ½ yd 44”w
For Petticoat: 1/3 yd (12”) 44” w cotton batiste or lawn
Small hooks & eyes, small snaps, buttons or clasps for closures
