*The copper and sterling silver used in my jewelry is raw and NOT coated to prevent tarnish. The vast majority of the pieces in my shop are oxidized and polished to create a patina finish on the metal. However, occasionally I leave pieces raw. These pieces will patina naturally with time and wear. *If the natural patina is not desired on copper, it can be removed with a mix of vinegar, salt, and warm water and a toothbrush! Always be mindful to avoid gemstones and delicate items, like pearls. *Some people will experience a greenish tint to their skin from raw copper. This is natural, harmless, and will wash off with soap and water. *If there is ever an item in my shop that is raw that you would prefer with a patina finish, please ask!
