Highlights
There's something special about about old French handwriting that works in mixed media projects. These translucent pages are printed with authentic French script from the 18th century and are an easy way to add texture and layering to journal pages without covering up everything underneath. The handwriting ranges from small to medium in size, giving you lots of options for tearing, layering, and incorporating it into your work.
The paper is translucent, so paint, collage, photographs, and other backgrounds still show through a bit once it's glued down. The printing is permanent, so you can paint right over it without worrying about the script running or smearing.
I use a glue stick to attach it, and it lays down smoothly without rippling. You can tear it by hand for softer edges or cut it cleanly with scissors. I've even wrapped it around glass jars to make candle holders (see the photos for examples).
You'll receive 5 different sheets measuring 8.5" x 11". They'll be shipped flat in a cardboard-backed envelope and are ready to use in art journals, junk journals, mixed media collage, scrapbooking, handmade cards, decoupage, and other paper projects.
