Super cute brown wool felt 1950s novelty skirt with corduroy leaves on front in beautiful fall colors! There is a gold leaf on waistband that extends above waistband for added distinction and design! Dark green corduroy is in center of skirt and towards hemline a red leaf . The leaves have some stuffing and a machine stitched decoration. The back is plain. The felt has a nice weight and the skirt hangs beautifully. You don't need a crinoline unless you want added fluff. There is no label so skirt may have been custom made. There are side seams and center seams front and back. The zipper is metal and is 7" and has plastic brown button at waistband for closure. There is hem tape around hemline and the skirt has a beautiful flare! The skirt is in excellent vintage condition with no odors or stains . There is a bit of wear in a few spots on hem tape but is not visible when worn and there is one small hole repair on front that is not visible when worn and you really have to look , but please see photos . This is such a great piece of history and probably a one of a kind piece!
