What if my item is damaged through shipping?

I insure shipments for cost paid for the item. Shipping charges are not insurable and generally not paid through damage claims. I do not refund shipping if the insurance claim does not reimburse for it. If damage has occurred, please do the following: 1) You must report damage to me within 24 hours of delivery. 2) Take several photos of the damage and send these photos to me when you notify me of damage. Also, the box (especially areas where the box was crushed, etc,), and all of the packing material. Do not discard anything until after the claim has been resolved. 3) I may require the item be returned to me and will notify you if this is the case. The item will need to be returned using the same materials and care in packaging.

Beautiful Vintage Hurricane Parlor Lamp - Hand Painted Large Tam O Shanter Shade

Photos do not do this baby justice. The shade is large and in a beautiful tam-o-shanter shape, colorful work of art. Exquisitely cared for and free of any damage, or paint loss. 3 way lighting with a night light in the bottom globe with easy access to change the bulb. I have a very small watt bulb in there for the photos; a longer candelabra bulb may disperse the light further up into the base.

The colors are vibrant against the white opal glass background.

I insure all shipments for the full value of your purchase. I use the utmost care in packaging delicate items to reach their destination safely and free of damage. Due to the size and delicacy of the lamp shade shipping may arrive in separate containers
