How do I send you my images?

You can attach a file to a conversation through Etsy via the little blue "Attach image" link at the bottom right of the conversation box. We prefer .png/.jpg/.pdf.

Can I split an order into more than one name or design?

Yes, we're will print up to three names or designs per order, even for a half sheet. Each label must be the same finished size, though.

Will you make me a digital proof of my labels before printing?

Sure! Send us a conversation requesting a proof, and we'll make you as many digital proofs as you need to get your labels just right. A caution, however: we're not graphic designers. If you need more complicated design work than our skills allow, we recommend WinchesterLambourne (https://www.etsy.com/listing/68964724/custom-label-design-label-graphic). She's nice and very talented :)

Are reprints any cheaper? Do you have a bulk or wholesale price?

Yup, there is a repeat buyer coupon code for $6 off future orders. Our bulk discounts are 10% off for 10+ sheets, 20% off for 20+ sheets, and 30% off for 30+ sheets.

What certification does your organic fabric have? Are the labels CPSIA compliant?

All of our fabric is GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certified. We can provide a certificate on request. The labels are all CPSIA compliant as well.

Are your labels cut into individual labels, or do you send them as sheets?

We have one listing for uncut labels (it is $10 cheaper than labels cut to size) and an option for uncut labels in a few other listings. 98% of our listings are for labels are cut to size. We are happy to make any of our labels as uncut sheets, though. If you want to order a listing as uncut instead of cut to size, just purchase the uncut listing and tell me in the notes section which designs you want us to print (as well as any other details, like font, text, and label size).

Do the labels fade or fray?

There is a limited initial fade, as with all labels printed on cotton. It's kind of like washing a new pair of blue jeans. After that the color holds steady, and labels are still legible for several years. The edges of sew on labels will fuzz slightly but will not unravel, as they are printed on the bias of a very finely woven cotton. If you want a completely clean look, you can dip the sides of the labels in fray check. Iron on labels do not fuzz.

Do iron on name tags come off in the wash?

- No. We use an industrial quality iron on backing, and these tags do not come off.

Can you print any design as sew on or iron on labels?

Yes, and it's the same cost. Just put the request in the notes at checkout.

Customs fees or VAT on international orders?

Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. If you're in Australia, Etsy collects the VAT and remits it for you. Most European countries have customs fees and/or VAT, even for relatively small orders, sometimes with an extra handling fee. We cannot pay this tax for you or change the item value on the customs form.

Pre-cut custom clothing labels, printed in vivid color.

These sewing labels are printed on white 100% organically grown cotton and set on the bias of the fabric, so they will not unravel and are soft and supple. They're ready to be set into a seam or sewn onto the outside of a garment or quilt or anything you like.

They're machine washable and dryable; they won't fade away with normal washing.

We can print these labels as sew on (no backing) or iron on (finished with a sturdy adhesive backing). The iron on labels can be applied with a home iron; just remove the paper backing, place on the item you're labeling, and press very firmly with a hot iron for 15 seconds.

Sew on labels are printed on a twill weight, smooth weave, soft white cotton; iron on labels are printed on an optic white (bright white) quilting weight cotton.

How to Order:
1. Choose the number of sheets you want and iron-on/sew-on from the drop down menus on the right, and click "add to cart."
2. In the notes box, tell me the size you want the finished labels to be and any specific instructions - seam allowance, formatting, etc.
3. Purchase labels.
4. Send me any graphics via message as a jpg, png, or pdf at 300 dpi or larger.
5. If you have questions, send me a message.

"Quantity" refers to number of different designs/types of label; "Number of sheets" is the number of sheets you want of each design/type.

Sizes and number of labels per sheet:

We're happy to print these labels in any size you want; the size you select will determine how many labels are printed per sheet. We don't cut very tiny labels but we do sell uncut sheets at any size.

Here are some common sizes and the number of labels they yield per sheet (as flat labels):
2" square - 20 labels
1" square - 75 labels
2" x 1" - 37 labels
2.5" x 1.5" - 20 labels
2" x .5" - 80 labels
1.5" square - 33 labels
2" x 2.5" - 16 labels

We can format them so that you can fold them over and set them into a seam; let me know the finished size you want the label to be (before folding), including seam allowances.

Prior to purchase, communication was great. As it got closer to the expected delivery date I reached out 4 times but didn’t hear anything until I made an official inquiry with Etsy. She said she was behind and offered a refund but that she would still send out the item the next day. I said I didn’t need a refund and still wanted to pay her for her work. The refund was still issued and she created the shipping label, but waited to actually send the item for almost a week. Edit: Originally was 2 stars because I did not receive the item and communication was very lacking. I received the item & they look great. I just wish communication was better but grateful for the help. I haven’t put any on a garment yet so I can’t say how they hold up but the print looks good.
