Artisan made Vintage Thai Natural bamboo wicker basket

This traditional and stunning handcrafted Thai rice basket box can be used as a storage basket or a decorative conversation piece that will add a lovely natural touch / accent to your kitchen counter, or any room at your home.

This vintage Thai basket/box was handcrafted by artisans using traditional skills and techniques and is traditionally used in Thailand, to transport and hold cooked sticky rice into the field.

The top comes off with a woven shoulder strap for carrying to the fields. The bottom and top are braced by 2 pieces of wood made into an x.
