Create good habits from the start! The philosophy behind the creation of the Wrist Assistant is based on the phenomenon of "muscle memory." If you've ever seen a rodeo cowboy or a ballet dancer walk down the street looking like they are still on the horse or the dance floor, then you have witnessed muscle memory in action! In the same way, the Wrist Assistant will create muscle memory for your young violinist. After just a year or less of using the Wrist Assistant, the wrist will automatically fall into perfect position for hand and finger placement. And in the meantime, you will avoid the constant nagging about "leaning" the wrist into the violin. This product prevents bad habits and creates good ones with no fuss.

The Wrist Assistant comes in 3 colors -- light purple, royal blue and black. It also comes in two sizes -- 1" thick and 1.25" thick. This slight difference actually is significant. We find that the 1" thickness provides the ideal angle between the wrist and violin for younger children age 5, 6 and 7, and the 1.25" thickness is better for slightly older or larger children, usually ages 7, 8, 9 or 10.
