I've provided extensive measurements so that you'll better be able to choose an item that will fit. Vintage sizing is different than modern sizing and garments tend to run small. I measure with the garment laying flat and I've provided those measurements in inches as well as a rough estimate in centimeters. For example, the bust is measured from armpit to armpit and then doubled. The best way to see if a piece is going to fit is to measure a piece of clothing that fits you well while laying it flat, and then compare it to the measurements in the listing. If the bust measurement falls between say, a 38 - 39 inches, I will always go with the smaller measurement as you can always tailor down but can not tailor up.

Vintage 1990's DEADSTOCK with Tags "Bob Mackie Wearable Art" Jacket Retro Western Wear Floral Embroidered Cowboy Shirt Never Worn Size Large.

This Bob Mackie "Wearable Art" Nehru style jacket is in inky black with white and gray satin embroidered flowers in a diagonal pattern across the front. The jacket is trimmed in white cord piping and has translucent gray pearl buttons. The jacket has a Western Wear/Cowboy feel to it, is in a nylon/poly blend, and the fabric has a nice sheen. The fit is boxy, and there are slits at both hips. Bob Mackie designed gowns and stage wear for many stars such as Cher, Ethel Merman, and Carol Burnett.
