This is a Ningxia silk rug from possibly Mid-19th century or even quite a bit older. It contains multiple 100 Antique motifs including scrolls, flowers in flower pots, musical instruments and others representing the essential components for becoming a true Confucian gentleman/woman. It has obvious wear but the designs are still very visible in the worn areas. A wonderful collectible piece.
