Hello Robin. Fabric is 97% polyester & 3% elastane as clearly stated in description. Athletic wear similar, you are correct. Description also clearly stated a fact that fabric is a thin fabric. Its on a buyer to look up fabric prior to ordering. Fabric not meeting your expectations, is not a sellers issue. Regarding quality- I highly beg to differ. I've sold a lot of these Aline dresses ,with yet to have a complaint about 'poor quality'. I wish you would send me a pictures about your issues, because item went through quality control without defects. All the best.
