The Hellebore has a way of hiding its face. It's the original shy flower that reveals itself slowly over time. I captured this beautiful specimen in a meadow in the forest, surrounded by ancient trees. I then re-visioned a landscape with the tiny white bells that also bloom this time of year. In the Northwest the Hellebore holds on from January through late spring, the flowers can last for a month, adding a lovely subtle color to the shade garden.

This artwork is a contemporary new media print created from my watercolor and original photography; it is not a reproduction of a painting. Prints are meticulously proofed and printed on archival paper, with pigment inks rated to last for 100 years or more. The prints come with a certificate of authenticity verifying the edition number and the edition size.

Framing: Prints are sold unframed. The prints are sized to fit standard Ikea frame 12.5 x 16.5 with a large mat surrounding, but also work well in an 11 x 14" frame.

Packaging Detail: Prints are shipped flat in a sturdy cardboard mailer.

The world is a complexity of textures. Iskra understands that, makes it art. Makes it a story that will live you, deeply.

I just received my print! It's beautiful and I can't wait to hang it. It was also very nicely packaged. Thanks!

I originally saw this piece at the SAM Gallery in Seattle. For the past two years I have been pining over purchasing the work for my home. I reached Iskra and was able to coordinate a purchase of a limited edition print. She was extremely responsive and I was able to setup an in person pickup. I can't wait until I get "Repose" back from the framer and it's hanging on my wall.

Not only were the cards gorgeous and of higher quality than I expected, Iskra added many little touches to the packaging of this order that made the experience of opening it a treat for me, before even beginning to write on the cards. Her art and design sensibility complement one another, and clearly go hand and hand with her professionalism and attention to customer delight. I look forward to needing more cards, and to giving my friends the same pleasure I myself enjoyed in opening my package from her. Every bit as nice as shopping at some boutique for cards, yet more heartwarmingly personal and human. And the prints themselves are magic! I started having more ideas for who I needed to send the rest of the set to as soon as I opened them. Inspired!
