Personal use — included with every purchase Make as many finished pieces as you wish: for your own home, as gifts, for your children's school plays, for your own wedding or party, for the classroom. If you share a photo, a tag to @smagapaperwood is always welcome. Commercial use — included, with credit You're free to sell the pieces you make by hand — at fairs, in your own small shop, on commission — and to use the designs in paid work: a wedding or event you style, a shop window, an exhibition, a photograph. We ask for one thing only: credit @smagapaperwood wherever the design appears. That small mention is how the next maker finds us, and it's the whole price of selling what you make.

TERMS OF USE & LICENSING: what is NOT permitted

✗ Not permitted The files stay with you, but the design is still the studio's own work. So please don't share, resell, or pass on the PDF or SVG files, and please don't sell a design as a file or a pre-cut kit. Sell what your hands make — not the thing that makes it. ★ When it grows beyond handmade If you'd like to produce the designs at volume, have them manufactured, or license a design itself — for a film, a brand, a production — write to us first, and we'll set terms that fit the scale of what you're making.

Are the instructions included?

Yes! Each purchase includes detailed illustrated instructions that guide you step by step through the assembly process. You'll also receive general information about fold types and line markings (cut, mountain, and valley folds), along with helpful tips on how to glue and assemble the sculpture for the best results — even if it's your first time working with papercraft.

What kind of paper, glue and tools do I need?

1. We recommend using cardstock with a weight of 200–300 gsm (110–160 lb) for the optimal balance of strength and foldability. 2. Use fast-drying craft glue, PVA glue, or double-sided tape. Hot glue can also work but may be messier for small tabs. 3. Basic tools you will need: A craft knife or scissors Ruler and scoring tool (for sharp folds) Glue or tape A cutting mat (optional but helpful)

I've never made a papercraft before. Will I be able to assemble your masks/sculptures?

Our masks are designed to be easy to make, so you don't have to be an expert. The template comes with detailed illustrated instructions and most of our templates have video tutorials. Check out our YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/@smagapaperwood3804/videos Finished masks are tough enough to survive festivals, parties and nights out! Just make sure you use thick paper or cardboard.

Can I use these files with a cutting machine (like Cricut or Silhouette)?

If an SVG version is included, it's compatible with cutting machines. Please check the listing description for details.

Can I sell finished products made from your templates?

Our templates are intended for personal or educational use only. If you want to use them for any other purpose (photo sessions, exhibitions, advertisement) please contact us first.

Can I wear the mask? Is it strong enough?

Yes, when built with proper cardstock, it's sturdy and wearable for costume parties, cosplay, or photo shoots. For extra durability, you can reinforce the inside with extra layers or foam.

Can I decorate or paint the finished piece?

Absolutely! Use paint, markers, glitter, feathers, fabric — make it your own. White cardstock is perfect for customizing.

Do you offer custom designs?

Feel free to message me with custom requests — I'm happy to discuss bespoke masks or sculptures.

Use colored cards, metallic or glitter cardboard, or thick bristol board.
You can use any cardboard that can be scored and creased easily.
--- Scissors and a craft knife.
--- Ruler and knife with the blunt side
--- All-purpose adhesive or double-sided tape. From our experience bookbinding glue or carpenter’s glue is also a good solution.

HOW TO START:
1. Download and Print the template (using A4 or US Letter thick paper)
2. Read the instructions step by step
3. Look at the illustrated instructions
4. Cut out each part
5. Score and fold along the dotted and perforated lines
6. Find an edge and flap with the same number and glue them together.
7. Start with number 1 and continue.

Fantastic guide - I'm not very confident with crafting things though have a little bit of experience. I made sure I slowed down and read everything and didn't try to leap ahead and all went well and was really pleased with the result :)
