Beautiful 1954 Longines 17Jewel Wristwatch

This is a beautiful mid-century 1954 Longines 17jewel wristwatch it triple brand marked. The movement is a manual wind, 9LT, 17 jewel, marked Longines. The beautiful egg shell white dial has slight blemishes and patina commensurate with its age and is marked Longines. All three stick style hands and the hour markers are gold plated. The two piece L&K case is gold filled and marked Longines and has light scratches commensurate with age. The back of the gold filled case is unmarked so it can be monogramed or inscribed by a jeweler. The brown padded lizard strap is by de Beer Paris and has a gold filled buckle. The strap has been used. The domed crystal is very clear and clean with light scratches appropriate for its age. The watch case dimensions are: 36.27mm end of strap lug to end of strap lug; 23.04mm from 3 o'clock' to 9 o'clock including the crown and is only 10mm thick. The time accuracy of this watch is terrific, +/- less than 1 minutes per day, as you can see in the picture of the watch with my digital timegrapher (the number on the left shows that sitting steady and level it keeps terrific time). In daily use this watch will keep time within two minutes per day. The pictures are an integral part of the description so please take the time to look carefully at them and enlarge them. I personally time and adjust every watch I sell. The timegrapher photo is shown so you can see for yourself the accuracy of the watch, although the actual accuracy may vary when wearing the watch it should be within +/- 2 minutes per day. I do not give refunds unless I have misstated information in the description or a flaw is not shown in a picture. This watch is not waterproof and should not be dropped or hit hard and should be professionally cleaned and adjusted every five years to maintain its accuracy. The watch must be wound every day to keep accurate time. The stand the watch is sitting on in the pictures is not included in the purchase.
