YOU WILL NEED:

• 100 gr of sock yarn* with 420 m in 100 gr (75% wool, 25% polyamide or nylon) or similar,
• crochet hook 3 mm (or another hook size to obtain gauge)
• stitch markers, tapestry needle, scissors.

Yarn substitution: Alize Superwash, Schachenmayr Regia, Dream Team Sock Dream, Lana Grossa Meilenweit, Drops Fabel, Zitron Trekking sport, etc.

The gauge (not stretched) for the main design is 10 cm х 10 cm – 28 sts х 34 r

To make the socks the following crochet skills are required:
• Chain (ch)
• Single crochet (sc)

Video tutorials for:
• Short and extended rows
• 4 out of 2 stitches increase (inc-2/4)
• 2 out of 4 stitches decrease (decr-4/2) and other.

SIZE

The pattern provides calculation and description of work for a pair of socks to fit the feet of an adult - size range 36-42 (23-26.5 cm foot length). Thanks to peculiar crochet technique of “horizontal ribbing” the socks will be elastic, but when stretched they still do not lose their original shape. Ergonomic design of the socks guarantees the perfect fit. Each sock is made in one piece using turning rows, starting from the side. You shall gradually work on the heel without breaking thread. At the end you will joint the starting and the final rows using the crochet hook.
