Beautiful Czech glass fire polished beads - cathedral beads. These beads were pressed in a shape of a barrel with a raised textured motif around the holes. The beads then were finished with a heavy rustic classic Picasso finish. To complete this bead design, the beads also were faceted all around its centre revealing gorgeous opaque deep jet ( black) glass.

In some batches the beads may look quite uniformed but in some batches the size difference could be slightly noticeable. A size variation in Czech Glass Beads is not a fault but a distinctive quality of this specific group of beads. Because some of the pressing or faceting process is a handmade process and a final bead appearance will slightly vary from a bead maker to a bead maker even within the same factory. The size is always determined by the longest/largest bead measurement, not the smallest or shortest. The same applies to the bead shapes. The most common shape variation is when round shapes may look slightly oval, which is within acceptable manufacturing standards.
