Rose scented thyme. Starter plant. This upright thyme features yellow-tinged stems and small, lance-shaped leaves that combine the classic aroma of thyme with an old-fashioned rose-like sweetness. In summer it produces soft pink flowers, adding a delicate display above the foliage. The leaves are sometimes used for herbal tea and are considered pleasantly aromatic. An intriguing plant worth experimenting with in the herb garden.
