Undated but probably published during the late 1940s (could be early 1950s)

Slim small-format softback booklet, measuring approx. 5 1/2" x 8" or approx. 14 cm x 20.5 cm.
24 pages (including cover) - cover in colour, internal pages in black and white

Features instructions for approx. 12 lacy sweaters / jumpers for women - various designs, though all are either sleeveless or short sleeved
As was customary at the time, the instructions for most patterns are given in ONE size only, though the precise size varies from design to design (varies from 32" - 37" bust, with a couple being in the 40"-45" inch bust range). If you would like further information on the sizings for particular designs, prior to purchase, please feel free to contact me

The patterns are intended for use with relatively fine yarns - vintage UK 2 ply or 3ply yarns (or equivalent)
A fabulous range of ultra feminine designs. A scarce booklet

In reasonably good condition with a few flaws. Some wear and tear to cover - scuffing and creasing, quite a bit of wear/rubbing to spine, small splits to top and bottom of spine (measuring approx. 1.5 cm or 1/2"), a few small dents down spine edge, slight chipping to edges. Very slight rusting to staples. A few creased corners. General age discolouration. But otherwise good. Binding is tight. Staples are intact. No loose pages. Internal pages are clean with no major flaws - no stains, tears or annotations. Back cover has a slightly grubby appearance but this seems to be part of the printing process. Please see photos for more information. please note that it has proved difficult to reproduce the colours totally accurately in the photos.
