In this listing you can purchase the full Tarot set (2 large mats including 22 tarots and the universal cutter), the individual mat or the universal cutter

★ PRODUCT & MATERIALS ★

These rubber mats are intended for polymer clay use and they create a stunning raised effect on the clay. This technique allows the designs to be incredibly detailed.

The mats work with Metalclay too (use a release agent suitable for metal clay). Some of them work with earths clay and air dry clay too.

Please note that the mat you receive might be in a different colour, depending on the rubber available

★ USE FOR POLYMER CLAY★

Please wash your mat with warm soapy water and a toothbrush before the first use.

Condition the clay properly and flatten it slightly higher than the final thickness you want, as when you will press the mat, the clay will lose a bit of thickness).

Stroke the clay with corn flour or another releasing agent. Remove the excess of corn flour and position the texture mat on the clay. Pass a rolling pin on the mat to create the impression on the clay. Using depth guides will make sure that you maintain consistent pressure.

Using the mat without corn flour (or baby powder) is not recommended. Alternatively, you can also use a few drop of water instead of corn flour. Make sure you clean and dry your clay immediately after.

Mat 2 - tarot XII to XXI - 150mm x 85mm [ each tarot measures 25mm W x approx 38mm H]
