If product is returned and was shipped via free $35 shipping, who is responsible for that cost?

The buyer is responsible for the initial and return shipping costs on all returns. The initial cost of Free Shipping on orders over $35 will be deducted from the refund to the buyer.

How do I return an item?

You must contact WoodChopTreasures and work out why the product is being returned. Item must be shipped back to WoodChopTreasures using the same method that WoodChopTreasures used to ship item to buyer insured for the value of the initial purchase at the buyers expense. Refund will be made minus any costs incurred by WoodChopTreasures once product has arrived and is in the same condition that it was in when it left WoodChopTreasures.

There are no guarantees by our shop that your treasure will arrive before Christmas when ordered after Thanksgiving. We process and ship all orders on the next business day. What happens once the order has been processed and has been handed over to the postal carrier is out of our shop's control and is not our responsibility. Thank you for your understanding.

Why did my order ship with a different carrier than USPS Priority Mail?

WoodChopTreasures offers the Etsy Free Shipping Guarantee(inside the Continental US) on all orders over $35.00. If our shop is paying for the shipping, then we reserve the right to choose the shipping carrier that will deliver your treasures to you and we use several carriers based upon package size, weight, and distance. If you purchase an item and need to have it delivered to you in a certain timeframe and it is over $35.00 then you should pay for expedited shipping. Etsy leaves the shipping marked as USPS Priority Mail(1-3 days)($0.00 cost to you) but that does not mean that is the carrier that your treasure will ship with.

Why are all sales final during shop sales events?

Due to the discounts prices, the volume of sales during a sales events, and often the very busy shipping schedules often found around the scheduled sales events all sales are final. We do not accept returns on discounted merchandise that was been purchased within a sales event. Thank you for understanding.
