The Fingerprint Ring is a firm favourite with the ladies. Created from sterling silver this ring is a beautiful and subtle way to keep your loved ones fingerprint close whilst beautifully complimenting any outfit.
Capturing those precious fingerprints couldn’t be easier with our no-mess print taking kit which is supplied FREE with every order. If you have existing prints or have ordered from us previously then these can also be used.

It can be difficult to obtain detailed fingerprints from children under 12 months old. We therefore recommend fingerprints only be taken from those over the age of 12 months old. For those younger, hand and foot prints are a wonderful alternative.

Please note: If you have your own prints ready to send us, our turnaround time for your item will be reduced to only 1-2 weeks.

The Itsy Bitsy Way:

Our mess free print kit makes it so simple to capture those prints and is supplied completely free with your order. We are also able to use any existing prints you may have or prints we have on file from a previous order.

For the fingerprints you are sent a kit upon placing your order,
which contains everything you need to take the prints.
These are taken using putty.
Once the prints are returned to me by post, the mould will be pressed in to the silver
to transfer the detail.
This means that the fingerprint work I produce is of
similar size to the actual print taken rather then being
reduced as with the hand and foot prints.

Delivery:

Our print kits will be dispatched to you within 1 working day. Any completed pieces will be dispatched within 14 days from receipt of usable prints. All our orders are wrapped with the utmost care and sent via Royal Mail special delivery which will require a signature on delivery.

Creation process:

Once you have placed your order with us, if you don’t already have the required prints then we will supply you with one of our FREE print kits with your order. These kits are very simple to use and completely mess free. Easy to follow instructions are included within the kit and demonstration videos are also available.

Fingerprints and nose print are taken using a special putty whilst all other prints are taken using an inkless wipe. Both methods are incredibly easy and completely mess free. Full instructions on how to take prints in included in the kit and once prints have been taken they are returned to us by a prepaid envelope so your item can be made.
Alternatively, if you are local to us then you can book an appointment with Nicole to take the required prints for you.

We recommend that fingerprints be taken from those aged 6 months upwards. This is due to babies having such tiny fingers that it can make it difficult to see a defined print. However, as each child is different it is possible that some older children also lack definition in their prints. When we receive prints back, if the lack of detail is minimal we will contact you to discuss your potions further. If you wish to have a fingerprint from a baby aged under 6 months we are more than happy to make this for you and it is a lovely reminder as to how small your child once was.
There is no upper age limit for taking fingerprints but we do recommend using the little finger so as much of the print as possible can be included on your piece.

As standard our items are not hallmarked. The law states that items below 7.78g in weight do not need to be hallmarked. We are registered with the London assay office and if you would like your pieces hallmarked then we are more than happy to do this for you however this is subject to an additional charge and will increase the time it takes to complete your item.
