Size: 1 - Dogs that are under 5 lbs
Size: 2 - Dogs that are 5-10 lbs
Size: 3 - Dogs that are 10-15 lbs
Size: 4 - Dogs that are 15-20 lbs
Size: 5 - Dogs that are 20-30 lbs

Size 1: 1.3 inches (down) x 1.2 Inches (side to side)
Size 2: 1.6 Inches (down) x 1.5 (side to side)
Size 3: 1.9 Inches (down) x 1.7 (side to side)
Size 4: 2.1 Inches (down) x 1.9 (side to side)

**PLEASE NOTE -- when introducing dogs to shoes for the first time always make sure they are on properly!
Do this by following these 3 simple steps:
1. Place paw inside shoes, guiding it in as low down & towards front as much as possible.
2. Fasten velcro straps AS TIGHTLY AS POSSIBLE. This may feel unfamiliar for your dog but is not painful.
3. Once the shoes are on & fully secure, GENTLY try to pull them off. If they pull off easily, remove the paw & start again ensuring all paws are fully inside the shoes and the velcro straps are snug.
If shoes still pull off easily it means they are too big.

I bought these hoping they would work as booties for my disabled cat, who has no back feet and thus needs extra traction on his stumps. The description isn't lying--these shoes STAY ON. My cat is still being persuaded to get used to them, but the shoes themselves are easy to slide onto his wee nubbins and can't be dislodged once they've been strapped in place. They enable him to walk much more normally on the uncarpeted parts of the floor and are thus a perfect solution for my very niche problem. In more generally applicable news, when there was a problem with my initial order, the shop owner was incredibly quick to respond and very kind! They really went above and beyond to solve my issue, and I recommend the shop wholeheartedly.
