Shilajit is the culmination of ancient plant matter that has been pressurizing inside of massive mountains for thousands of years. When two Earth plates collide, a mountain begins to form and the existing plants and terrain become trapped. These trapped life forms over time gradually turn into the organic matter which we refer to as "shilajit".
Within shilajit's make-up, we find over 75 minerals in ionic form. Some of these minerals include iron, zinc, magnesium, potassium, iodine, sulfur, chromium, manganese and selenium which are essential minerals necessary for proper cellular and metabolic processes in the body.
