I often make Mother's Day cards in purple and yellow flowers because that is my Mom's favorite combination. If your mother, sister, aunt, daughter, grandmother or friend loves early spring flowers, she would love this entirely hand made card too. She will know you took the time to select something very special.

The focal image of this card is a lovely, purple, pot full of yellow crocuses that I hand stamped in espresso ink and carefully colored with Copic markers. I die cut the crocuses and mounted them with foam tape onto a background of striped paper accented with a tasteful, yellow, card stock frame. Picture six really highlights the dimension on this card.

I added a sentiment panel, which reads, "You are Loved" and a smaller, circular die cut with the sentiment, "Happy Mother's Day" hand stamped in purple. A few coordinating enamel dots provide the final finishing touch. The inside features another single, hand stamped and colored crocus and plenty of smooth, white space left blank for your own personal message.

This card measures 5.5 inches x 4.25 inches and comes with a smooth, white envelope. It is packaged in a cellophane sleeve to keep it in pristine condition.
