Alaska Deep Bedding Screens (3 Screen Bundle)

Its important for hamsters to have deep bedding to burrow in. And you absolutely can use a grass mat or piece of cardboard to create a deep bedding area. Or you can use a set of these 3 clear Perspex screens, which can easily be wiped clean, look great, and most importantly are crystal clear allowing you to see what your little fluff ball is doing inside their cage.

These Perspex screens are custom made to fit the "Alaska" hamster cage and are great for keeping your deep bedding inside the cage and not on your floor, preventing winter draughts, stopping poops being thrown out of the cage, or reducing bar biting.

This kit consists of three Perspex screens which are designed to create a deep bedding area at one end of your "Alaska". Because the Alaska has different size front screens for the left and right hand sides you can choose which end of the cage you would like to cover. You can also select different heights to suit how deep you would like your bedding to be. The screens fit inside the cage and are held in place using stainless steel bolts and wing nuts. These are quick and easy to assemble and are very secure.

See the product images for a diagram showing where the screens are fitted and the alternative heights available. The front screen covers the space from the front left/right corner across to the start of the door flap. The side screen covers the full width of the cage. The rear screen covers half the width of the cage.

I make everything to order, so if you would like a customised screen, whether that's a different size, a different colour acrylic, or holes for fixing shelves etc, let me know and I will make something just for you.

The approximate dimensions of the screens are as follows:

Front Left Screen Width : 14.4cm
Front Right Screen Width : 31.2cm
Side Screen Width : 45cm
Rear Screen Width : 38.8cm
Screen Thickness : 3mm
Screen Height : 16cm, 25cm (these attach to the cage bars so sit above the plastic base)

The acrylic colour may be slightly different from the pictures due to lighting and screen differences, but mainly because of my inability to take a decent photograph.
