This is a *digital download* print and is a visual of the ACT Matrix from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy [ACT]. The matrix is a diagram about noticing our inner and outer thoughts, feelings and experiences. It is used to encourage psychological flexibility. It’s composed simply of two bisecting lines: the vertical line representing experience and the horizontal line representing behaviour. The key to psychological flexibility and valued living is noticing the difference between our behaviour and experiences in the world and our mental experiences and noticing the difference between moving toward who or what is important versus moving away from unwanted thoughts/feelings.

The different areas on the print support adults, children and young people to externalise their thoughts or feelings. This print is inspired by my own therapeutic work. It is a perfect print to enhance any office decor whether you are a counsellor, psychologist or an aspiring student.
