Beginners Welcome! Needle felting is a technique that uses barbed needles and carded wool to decorate a felt surface with design. Simple design shapes and lots of colors combine, to create a tapestry. This gorgeous design was inspired by Suzani Embroidery flowers and comes to life in vibrant and playful colors! Finished size is approximately 20x20 inches.
The design will come printed onto the wool pre felt base for you, just open the bag and begin stabbing. I provide you with the highest quality ingredients to ensure your success. The dyed wool is carded, not combed. The foam insulation board is the best surface to work on. The one inch thick is included in your kit and provides a wonderfully firm and stable surface. The combination of this board and these needles and this pre-felt is ideal as the board grabs the fiber strands when you poke them, which helps to secure them in place and prevents your hand from bouncing. The needle can penetrate the board easily, bringing the fiber strands with it. The needles are European. and it is worth using these better needles. They are less brittle and less coarse for the fabric base. They are a 38 Triangular perfectly suited for tapestry felting. There is room for flexibility in design and color placement. Everything is in the kit, ready to begin and I am right here to guide you if you have any questions!!!!
Like all of my kits, these designs are original and done by me personally. A lot of time and care go into the production of my kits to ensure your success. I hope you enjoy! Neysa Copyright and Reproduction Rights are Reserved by the Artist Neysa Russo / The Felting Studio.
