This pattern requires to be focused. It is not hard in terms of shape, it's actually very basic, but changing colors to make the shapes of the continents will ask for your attention. If you need any help, please feel free to ask me for assistance.

It includes detailed instructions, photos and also a diagram to instruct you on how to crochet this toy step by step.

This Planet Eart was made with 100% mercerized cotton yarn and a 1.75 mm crochet hook. Using the same material as I used it will be 7 cm/2.75 inch tall. Feel free to experiment with different yarn and hook size but note that it will change Earth's size.

Great detailed pattern for Earth Day project. It works up much larger with Yarn weight of 4 and a size F hook. Overall great instructions! Would be helpful to add more visual references for each round to ensure that stitches are aligning correctly with previous round. Otherwise, if stitches are off by even 1 stitch, it affects the rest of the work from that point on and continents don't look right. I know from the misaligning a few. My South American looks like there is ocean through the middle. And my Africa has a misplaced horn. :0 Thanks for the pattern though! Saved me so much work
