Attar (also sometimes spelled as ittar) are concentrated perfume oils extracted from a wide variety of spices, herbs, flowers, and other plants. The steam-extracted natural oils are then combined with additional aromatic compounds by master perfumers to create some of the most highly prized and sought-after scents.

What is the Difference between Essential Oils and Attars?

Essential oils, derived from organic whole-plant sources, are known to contain numerous healing qualities. They are usually purchased in concentrated single scent oils, or simple blends, for use in aromatherapy. Similarly, Attars are created from unique blends of concentrated essential oils, musks, ambers, and other aromatic compounds for long-lasting fragrance. They are crafted to arouse the senses and heal to the mind, body, and spirit.

Are these fragrances long lasting?

All of our Attar fragrance oils are concentrated oils that are completely alcohol free. Due to this, it takes a very long time for the scents to wear off.

Are the fragrances tested on animals?

None of our products are tested on animals. Also, all our perfumes are vegan, phthalate-free, paraben-free, and alcohol-free.

How long will the fragrance bottle last?

This depends only on your usage habits. On average a 3 ml bottle, used one time a day, lasts about 1 to 2 months.

Why can’t I smell my fragrance after a while?

It’s a normal phenomena called nose fatigue, where the nose desensitizes itself when it gets used to the scent. Even though you can’t feel it, others around you still can, so go easy on reapplying the scent.
