This is a really cool bead carved into a skull it is made out of a very heavy sometimes magnetic stone called Hematite.
This bead weighs 18.6 grams
and is 23mm x 18mm x 14mm

Hematite is a silvery, shiny opaque stone that almost looks like metal. Hematite is heavy and relatively hard oxide mineral, that constitutes the most important iron ore because of its high iron content, about 70 percent.
there is also possiblt some a reddish color in the bead it is mostly in the carving of the teeth, this is due to the high iron content.
It was also used in jewelry during Victorian times in brooches, rings and pendants.
