I am passionate about my mixed media ribbon flower pins, corsages, brooches! I love the variations of color and texture combined into a gorgeous little gem of wearable art. The materials I use make them unique, how I use the materials makes them spectacular! These heirloom flower pins are sure to dress up any outfit, or fashion accessory you have in your closet. Whether it is a red-carpet event or simply going to the super-market add a flower pin to your clothing as to a smile on your face!
This pin I used a Vintage ribbon with red hearts embroidered on it to form 5 petals, backing the sheer flower is a mirror image of a white bridal satin flower with 5 petals, then I added Vintage hand blown glass beads from a previously loved, (loved often) necklace, to the center. And then made a fringe with red long bugle beads, a few small red glass beads, and a few white glass Vintage beads with cool filigree caps on them.
The size is approximately 3 1/2 wide x 5 1/2 in long. On the back of the pin I used a small lever back pin.
