Seller's description
Specifications
DPD (Duty Paid Delivery) for customers in the US. No import duties upon delivery.
This desk lamp by Philips is pretty special. But it is also a bit of a mystery to me. It is often attributed to Charlotte Perriand, but I know that to be incorrect. What I do know is that they are from the 1930's and reflect the Bauhaus design from that era.
The lamp has a slender metal frame, that allows for the gray plastic lamp shade to be tilted backwards and forwards. The lamp shade can also be adjusted separately. On the standing part of the base the lamp has two spring clamps, used to attach the lamp to a working surface or to hold down paper.
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:
- These lamps use a conventional tube lamp, with an S19 socket. These tubes are still available, even in LED. A tube is included in the price.
- I have two of these lamps available. Both are in excellent condition. However, one of them is missing one of the two spring clamps.
When shipped, it will be wrapped thoroughly to prevent any damage. I will use assured shipment only. If you buy more than 1 item, I will use combined shipping wherever I can. Shipping costs for each additional item will then be $5.
