Roma II Green Bush Bean Seeds - Long & Flat Bush Beans Heirloom Vegetable Seeds
Phaseolus vulgaris
Listing is for 1 packet of 20 seeds
I love these bush beans! Romano type beans are flat and wide. They are and best harvested when pods are 5-8 inches long. The entire pod is edible and has a very crisp texture. They are juicy and have a flavor that reminds me of cucumber and green beans put together (in a very good way). I follow square foot gardening guidelines but planting 9 seeds per every square foot.
Follow me on social media because I talk a lot about the same seed varieties I sell here in my shop and gardening tips. IG, YT, and TikTok: jerrasgarden.
PLANTING
Germination: 4-10 days
Germination Temperature: Optimum soil temperatures are 70-85ºF
Seed Sowing Depth: 1” deep
Sowing: Direct sowing is preferred after the last frost. In warmer climates can also direct sow at end of summer for a fall harvest.
Harvest: Ideally harvest when the pods are 8-10 inches long, before the seeds bulge and beans snap easily.

Reviews for this item
Love Roma's on growing tunnels. So do the neighbors I share them with. Very reliable shop with great history of germination of seeds. These will not be planted for another few weeks but it is nice to be able to get so many seeds from one place local to Central Florida.
Just arrived and planted 3 days ago. All seeds have already germinated. Second seasons using these seeds. Really nice pole bean!
Germinated within days. Seeds arrived quickly. Very happy with purchase.
Seeds came quickly, well protected, local seller. Have not germinated yet. Likely will not plant for a few weeks. Looking forward to trying them. Update - All seeds are coming up in raised bed within 6 days - East Central Florida.
Smooth dispatch Has a history of dispatching on time with tracking.
