All items are safe to wash and disinfect. This will not harm the item. We recommend washing all items you purchase ( from anywhere not just our shop) Even though Our shop has the least handling from what you would typically purchase at a store we want you to wash the item. This softens the fibers and keeps the yarn healthy. All you need is a gently hand wash, ring out as much water as you can, reshape and lay flat to dry. Large items can be tossed in the machine washer and machine dryer.

Clean and safe work environment

Because our items are 100% handmade we take extraordinary steps to keep your items clean and free of bad contamination. 1- we always purchase our yarn warehouse direct insuring all yarn has been sealed in plastic (not exposed) unlike craft stores - we work with disinfected hands, clean nails and clean overcoat apron - we are pet and smoke free environment - we do not work while sick or if anyone else in our home is sick - our yarn is stored in sealed containers while we are not working - we do not allow anyone near our items while we are working - items are packed and waterproof sealed soon after completing - each customer receives a new item, they are not given items returned by others or items used in our listing photos.

We understand clients are excited and can be emotional when purchasing our items. However it is important to be polite and professional at all times. If a customer is displaying rudeness, name calling, and threats we are put in a situation where the safety of our company will come first. In these situations we will cancel an order or decline an order to allow the customer other buying options and release them from their purchase. Signs of aggression and agitation are clear signs that a we are not a good fit for such a customer and would like to allow them to find a vender that is a better fit.

My item shows it was delivered but I don’t have it.

Our company is not responsible for porch or mailbox theft. If there is proof of successful delivery to the correct address we cannot issue a refund. In these situations we ask that you review your security devices ( if you have them) and or reaching out to neighbors to see if they received the item by mistake. Also double check your mailing address provided to see if your address is up to date. If your address is not updated in the Etsy system then an old address is listed and the item was mailed to that location. In these situations we are not obligated to reship your item/s for free an client is responsible to pay additional fees associated with sending out an item that has already been marked as delivered.

My item arrived late can I return it?

If an item is shipped within the estimated shipping time stated during original purchase, and there is post office proof that the item will arrive before the holiday (example Christmas Eve, Easter, thanksgiving), and the item arrives later then expected , you may NOT return the item. I am not responsible for United States Post Office or U.SA customs delay. Delays rarely occur, the post office is a well oiled machine and works every hard to get orders delivered on time. There are natural disasters, bad weather or shipping surges that occur sometimes which cause delays . To prevent a possible delay, order your item no later then3- 2 weeks from desired date and always check the shipping turnaround on the item.

When will my item ship and what is the estimate for delivery?

Please see item invoice for the shipping estimate regarding your item. The shipping date is the date your item is to be shipped. Items are delivered within 5-8 business days after shipping. All Shipping dates are estimated dates and not a guarantee of delivery date.

International orders and tracking

International orders take 2-4 weeks to deliver, customs may delay your item. If this happens I am not responsible for delays. Each international order comes with a tracking number that you can use to track your order.

I accidentally shipped my order to the wrong address / my address and it was delivered to the address, and I want it shipped to another address. What do I do?

If you have put your personal mailing address on the purchase order and forgot to enter a different address because this item needed to be sent to someone other then you, The customer is suggested to mail the order directly to the intended recipient to save on shipping cost and time. - it is not suggested to be resent back to Elena Monroe Boutique so that the Boutique can resend the item out to the new address. This causes delay in your item being sent to the recipient and also costs you more money. Standard Elena Monroe Boutique Shipping will be added to this item in order for it to be resent regardless if you purchased the item with a free shipping discount. Shipping Tracking # and payment is required if being sent back to shop.

Customs has not released my item/ or Item needed to be sent back to the US. What do i do?

If your item was not released to you from Customs and or the item had to be sent back to the US. You may be issued a refund (minus the cost of international shipping paid by the shop owner). The cost of Large items such as blankets or several items shipped at one time, exceeds the cost of the original shipping fee paid by the customer. When this happens and the items shipped need to be returned to the shop owner for cancellation, you will be refunded; however the cost of shipping paid when the item was sent out does not get returned. For example: you paid 25$ for international shipping for your purchase. But the cost of shipping was actually 60$. The 60$ is kept by the shop during an item refund. Proof of $ of shipping will be sent.

I want to cancel by order before it has shipped

A customer is given 24 hrs to decided to cancel an order. After 24hours a customer is no longer eligible to cancel their order due to the speed at which orders are processed and already started their journey. If you purchased your items during a sale, you may not cancel your purchase. If after purchasing your items you see that the turnaround to ship is longer then you realized you may upgrade to a faster and quicker shipping turnaround. For non sale items you may cancel within 24hrs, item on sale cannot be canceled prior to shipping ( these items are considered final sale)
