MARION GODART Paris Bracelet Jonc Prune Fleurs Plastique

Pretty mid-century flower bangle bracelet by Marion Godart Paris. It is made of reddish purple (plum) plastic and adorned with a well designed elegant flower-pattern. Bangle measures 2 5/8 inch (67 mm) diameter and 1 1/8 inch wide. Vintage, last specimen of a long past terminated line, never been worn. There is a little mark at the edge on all bangles, seems to have to do with way they are manufactured. Some scratches due to storage may occur.

Marion Godart is a well known French jewelry designer from Paris working with Resin, Lucite and Bakelite since the 1960's. She is known for her brightly colored quirky, yet chic costume jewelry. Inspired by artistic trends of the beginning of twentieth century, her creativity plays with shapes, materials and ethnic influences and color always forms the frame. A pop and unconventional style that gives all pieces joy and dynamism! Marion Godart does not sign her work, but her pieces cannot be mistaken.
