How Is My Order Shipped? Is Tracking Included?

▶Canadian Orders: The 'Standard Shipping' for Canadian orders are via Lettermail/stamps with no tracking, no insurance and no guaranteed delivery date. A Tracked Upgrade with tracking & insurance is available at checkout. ▶Thick items, such as bow tie, sailor bows and leashes are too thick to fit through the Lettermail system and are required to ship with tracking. ▶USA Orders: All orders are shipped with tracking & insurance. All US orders are delivered using USPS Ground Advantage. ▶International: Currently International orders are being shipped un-tracked economy. Australia and New Zealand ship tracked and transfers to your home country's mail system. Please note that customers are responsible for return fees from incorrect addresses.

How Much is Your Rush Order Fee and What is the Timeline?

The rush order fee is approximately 25% of the total order before shipping. During regular production times (excluding holiday seasons), this moves your order from 3-5 business days to 1-2 days depending on how large your order is. Rush orders require your order to be placed ahead of someone who has been waiting in the queue for their product. This often results in late nights and weekend work to complete it in a very short amount of time to get your rush order done and to keep all other orders in line. Often times, rather than paying a rush fee, you can pay for rush shipping if the production timeline fits your deadlines. We can price it out for you and recommend the best approach.

Return & Exchange Policy

Currently I do not offer exchanges or refunds for hygienic reasons, but if you received your item with a defect/issue, please reach out to discuss a replacement, as I'm always happy to help. Wear & tear issues relating to biting, pulling, scratching and fading of the design are not considered defects. Often times shops that accept exchanges and returns are re-selling items that may have been used by another dog or cat, which can transfer unwanted bacteria to your pet. Please be assured your item will have never been worn by another pet. All my items are made to order just for your pet. Sizing charts and material info that may affect longevity are included in each listing to ensure you can make an informed decision. Questions? Please ask!

Please refer to the sizing chart image in each listing for sizing options. If your pup falls just outside of a size range or at the very end, we can add an extra inch or two to accommodate your pet's specific size, especially if your pup is no longer growing. For example, the small size adjusts from 9 - 13" and the medium adjusts from 12 - 19". If your pup has a 14" neck, rather than get a medium and have 5" of extra bulk, we can add an extra inch or two to the small size to ensure a comfortable fit at no extra charge. Please contact us for details.

Most collars and leashes can be hand washed or machine washed on a gentle cycle with cold water. Air dry only. For spot treatment, use a soft toothbrush to remove mud, dirt, etc. Accessories such as bow ties and flowers should be gently washed by hand or spot treated when dirty. Please make sure to not leave your pet's products where they may be chewed or ingested. Please check your products for wear and tear regularly.

I've tested my products for strength & durability for everyday use. Based on the tensile strength of my raw materials, my products are safe during normal use and everyday wear and tear (scratching, biting, pulling excluded). My products are NOT for tie-out or pulling additional burden other than pet's own weight. Each consumer is responsible for determining the suitability of Pooch & Tabby products for their individual situation and assumes all responsibility/liability by purchasing said products. Pooch & Tabby and its owner cannot be held responsible for any injury or damage that may result from the use of my products. As with all pet products on the market, they should be inspected regularly for wear and tear.

Shipping Thick Items (Leashes, Fabric Flowers, Bow Ties, Bows) - Canadian Customers

Collars and other items that can be flattened can be shipped by Lettermail/stamps as they are within the 2cm threshold for Oversized Lettermail service offered by Canada Post. Thicker items, such as leashes, bow ties, sailor bows and fabric flowers will be rejected at the Post Office if I try to ship with Lettermail and must ship as a parcel.

Canadian 'Free Shipping' on Select Items

Currently, the 'Free Shipping' offer for Canadian customers, also known as Standard Shipping is for Lettermail shipping with stamps. This service has no tracking, no insurance if lost and no guaranteed delivery date. If your order has taken longer than 14 business days to arrive, please contact me to discuss next steps. I'm always happy to work with customers if your order does not arrive, but I cannot help if I am not notified of a problem to be able to provide a resolution. Tracking upgrades, while not mandatory, are highly recommended.

Should I be worried aren't you a 'Star Seller'?

While all of my orders are sent within the stated production timeline and all of my US, AU and NZ orders are sent with tracking, Star Seller is a program requires that 95% of orders be sent with tracking. As I do not force Canadian buyers to pay the high prices for tracking in Canada on Lettermail appropriate items, I do not qualify for the final star. While all Canadian buyers have the option to upgrade to a tracked service, it is a disservice to my customers to require it when our Lettermail service can be used and is very reliable.

What is a Breakaway Buckle?

All collars feature breakaway buckles for your cat's safety. Cats love to get into tricky places, both indoors and outside. If your cat becomes caught on something, any twisting or direct pulling on the collar with a certain amount of force will cause it to 'break away' and free your cat.

I'm glad you like the collar, however to clarify, ALL of my items are *100% made by me.* I buy my ribbon designs and fabrics from designers and suppliers all over the world and while I strive to buy unique designs to use for my collars, I cannot stop other sellers from searching for and buying the same designs of my top sellers and making their own collars from these designs too. Each of my cat collars is made from scratch using ribbon or fabric, webbing, a plastic buckle, a slider, a d-ring and thread, while offering 3 different hardware options and 2 widths and 3 sizes to make each collar exactly to what my customer chooses, as well as doing custom sizes when asked. I believe this qualifies my collars as handmade.
