This is an accessible project for beginners there are picture of how to make every stitch alongside written instructions.

Time it takes to complete the project:

- For complete beginners I would say about 10 to 15 hours.

- For intermediate (which is what I consider myself) - 8 to 10 hours.


Pattern Details:

- This pattern is written in US terms.
- Instructions of how to measure yourself for the perfect fit, as well as standard measurements for an average size hat.
- Step by step pictures of all the stitches alongside written instructions for each row.
- Hat Chart / Diagram with written instructions (for the visual people out there);
- Instructions with pictures of how to transition the yarn / colour, and how I weave in and trim the yarn ends (in case you also want to make a scrap yarn / left over yarn project).


Materials:

This is a made to measure pattern, so you can use any yarn and hook you want, but the below are my recommendations:

- Yarn: Medium (aran /worsted / size 4) weight recycled cotton or any other plant fiber.
- Crochet Hook: 4 mm or 5mm (depending on your tension).
- Tapestry needle or a smaller crochet hook to weave in the ends.
- Tape measure.


Sizing:

The pattern is written for a size large (59 cm head perimeter) and detailed explanation of how to make the hat to your own measurements are also given. As this is a made to measure pattern gauge swatch is not required.
