This charming quilt features the sweetest momma cats and kittens.

The center panel of cats and their kittens shows a momma grooming her kitten, a kitten playing with momma's tail, and kittens following momma in a little line (except for the naughty ginger tabby, who is always be carried by its momma, lest he run away!), is framed by pale apricot and pink gingham, a green geometric print, a tonal brown and dots of white, yellow and deep orange on orange. I added a strip of green rick rack on the brown print and a strip of brown rick rack on green print.

I backed the quilt in crisp white, high thread-count cotton (it feels like a soft, favorite sheet!) and used Warm & White brand 100% cotton batting. Quilted in a gently meandering grid. This quilt is bound in deep brown with white pin dots. I gently laundered the quilt upon completion, allowing the cotton batt to shrink its standard 2 to 4%.

42"L x 38.25"W (106.7 x 97.16 cm), "Make Way for Kittens" is generously sized for your baby from infancy through toddlerhood and beyond! The cats and kittens provide visual stimulation during tummy time! The rick rack provides texture for little fingers as well.

All Moon Spirit Studios baby quilts are made from quality, 100% cotton fabrics, pieced and quilted with cotton thread. All fabrics are pre-washed and dried prior to making the quilt. Quilt bindings are a double layer of fabric, and are hand-stitched to the back of the quilt. Quilts are gently laundered upon completion.

Please wash and dry your quilt on gentle, cool cycles. For maximum color retention, line dry and keep from prolonged exposure to direct sun.
