How to I get access to the pattern I've purchased?

There are two ways to access your pattern and download it to your device. First, you will receive an email from Etsy with a link to the "download instructions" file. You can also get the file through your Etsy account. This cannot be done through the Etsy app, so you will need to use a browser (like Chrome or Firefox). From the Etsy homepage: 1) Make sure you are signed in and click on your account menu at the top right of the page. 2) From the drop down menu, click on "Purchases." 3) Next to the order, click the "Download Files" button. On the next page, click on the "Download" button. This will also download a "download instructions" file to your device. This file contains the clickable link(s) needed to access your pattern.

I just receive a single page instead of a full pattern. How do I get my pattern?

Due to size constraints on uploads to Etsy, I use a landing page to help you access your pattern and any supplemental materials that come with it. Click on the links provided within this page to open the full pattern, print friendly version (if applicable), and any supplementary materials. Etsy currently does not have an option to push out updated files to existing customers, so this ensures that you always have the most up to date version of a pattern! You are, of course, still able and allowed to download the pattern files after opening them!

When I try to open the PDF, I just get a blank page or an error. How do I open the pattern?

This is likely caused by a software error, due to not having a default PDF viewer installed on your device. Download a PDF viewer like Adobe Acrobat Reader to open the file. Please note that some devices may have an e-reader set as your default PDF reader. This frequently results in errors, due to opening the files in incompatible software. Please ensure that you have software capable of successfully opening a PDF file before purchase. Refunds will not be given due to incompatible software.

What format will my pattern be in?

All of my patterns are made available as PDFs. While most devices have a PDF Reader pre-installed, on some devices you may need to download a PDF Reader in order to open the file. Adobe Acrobat Reader is a popular, free option.

Will I receive a physical item in the mail?

I do not sell physical items, including copies of patterns. All listings in this shop are for digital downloads.

I don't crochet. Will you sell me this item instead of the pattern?

While I do not sell finished items, I do allow anyone who purchases my patterns to sell what they make. I recommend reaching out to your local fiber arts group to inquire if anyone is accepting commissions.

The links in my PDF aren't working. How do I fix this?

You will need to have links enabled in your PDF Reader software. Typically, updating your software can resolve this issue, though in some cases you may need to update your software settings. This is specific to your device and chosen software.

Can you email me a pattern?

It is my policy not to email patterns to ensure compliance with Etsy's policies on ensuring delivery of your purchase. Access to your purchase is emailed by Etsy, as well as being made accessible through your Etsy account.
