We carry out custom and personalised work. Please message us to discuss prices etc. We will create a one-off listing detailing the cost and design information for your personalised product.

When measuring your dog for one of our products, please use a fabric measuring tape and refer to our product images to get an accurate measurement; please message us if you cannot find them. Some of our custom collars require a head circumference rather than a neck circumference, this is due to the design of those collars and is critical to their fit. Please message us if you have any further questions on how to measure your dog.

Good leather care is critical to the lifespan of your new leather collar, leash or accessory. With every order, we will send you our dedicated leather care guide. If you would like to see this before ordering, please don't hesitate to contact us. We also sell an in-house blended leather care oil which you can purchase to use on all of our products.

Gift wrapping and packaging

All of our orders are dispatched in tissue gift wrapping inside a branded, padded envelope. This reduces our packaging waste keeping our packaging eco-friendly whilst allowing you to keep the item in our branded tissue packaging for gift giving. There may be scope for us to amend gift packaging on request; please get in touch with us if this is something you would like.

Wholesale availability

We handmake all items and do not provide wholesale. Kegdog products are made and distributed by Kegdog - we do not liaise with third parties or drop shippers.

We handle returns and exchanges on our collars on a case by case basis due to the custom-built nature of our designs. We are always happy to exchange or refund unused leads/leashes so long as the product has not been customised or personalised in any way. Don't hesitate to contact us if you have any issues with your purchase, and we will do our best to resolve the issue.

A rolled leather buckle collar. This dog collar is suitable for small, medium and large breeds and is available in a range of leather colours. Made by hand in the UK.

We build your collar in our home workshop using the measurements you provide. We are passionate about custom-fitted collars as we feel this gives your dog a much better fit than collars with a size range. We aim to place your dog's current neck size in the middle of the buckle strap, giving you a personalised size range for coat changes, weight fluctuations etc.

The leather is rolled, and saddle stitched entirely by hand. This means that each stitch can be strength-tested as it is sewn. Rolled leather is renowned for being kind to fur and helping to prevent hair snapping. This collar design is very popular with owners of long-haired breeds such as spaniels, retrievers, papillons, and dachshunds.

The leather used for your collar is cut from our premium Italian full grain hides, ethically sourced from high-welfare beef farms. This makes the leather used for your collar sustainable and part of the chain in achieving a zero-waste meat industry. The tanning process uses natural dyes made from plants and botanicals, known as vegetable tanning, meaning it is safe for your pet.

Custom Fit:

We will make this collar to order, and custom fit it to your dog. Please use a fabric measuring tape for the most accurate neck measurement. We work by the old saying, “measure twice, cut once!” If you have any queries about the fit of the collar, we are more than happy to discuss these with you at any stage. Just message us; we aim to answer all messages within a few hours.

Due to the custom nature of our products we may ask you to supply a measurement photo before we start building to ensure a tailored fit.

Buckle Fastening:

Your collar will be equipped with a buckle and two D rings to fasten it with. The collar comes in two widths, making it suitable for all breeds. Depending on your preferred style, you can choose a silver finish or solid cast brass.

Traditional Leathercraft:

Your collar will be made using time-tested, traditional techniques. This means it is crafted using the same hand tools that would have been used in leathercraft for hundreds of years.

This collar is handcrafted to order, making it easy for us to personalise the features just for you.
