Download a digital item

If you have an Etsy account, you will see the View your files link after you purchase, which will take you to the Downloads page. Here you can download all files of your order. Downloads are available once your payment is confirmed. If you paid with PayPal or a credit card on Etsy, confirmation may take a few minutes. In addition to the transaction notification from Etsy and possibly PayPal, you also receive a separate download notification. I purchased a digital item, but I don't have an Etsy account.

If you have paid as a guest, you will find the link to download your purchase on the invoice that you received by email after your purchase.

I can't find my download notification.

First check your spam / junk folder. Do you use Gmail? Then also check the Social and Advertising tabs. Still can't find it? Then add transaction@etsy.com to your address book or safe list.

Can I access my digital purchases through my account?

Yes! To do this, go to Your Account> Purchases and Reviews, and look up the order. Click Download files to the right of your order. This will take you to the download page, where you can find all the files for your order. There is usually no limit to the number of times you can download a file. In most cases, you can always find the file via your purchases page, provided the transaction has not been canceled or deleted. If your payment is still being processed, the Download files button is still gray.

Cannot download my files.

If nothing happens when you click on the download links, there may be a problem with your web browser. Please disable any non-standard add-ons and toolbars you have installed and try again. If your computer says the file is corrupted, delete it and download it again. Still can't open the file now? Then contact the seller through Etsy Messages. If your computer cannot open the file, you may not have the correct program on your computer. Then ask the seller which program you need through Etsy Messages.
