Highlights
Highlighter Dust is a metallic powder used to decorate cakes, dessert showpieces, chocolate decorations, and other decorative pastry work. This dust provides an incomparable metallic finish and offers a realistic look when brushed onto fondant, gum paste, chocolate, pulled sugar, & isomalt.
Preparation: Add directly to the surface being decorated using a dry brush, sponge, or even by dipping. Another popular method is to use with alcohol for a matte effect. Mix the dust well with a clear spirit (vodka, rum, or vanilla extract) before use as pigments may settle. Once mixed, mixture becomes a type of metallic paint. Then apply using a wet brush or air brush.
Storage: Store in a cool and well ventilated area. Keep jar tightly closed and away from frost & heat.
