This enchanting 1920s robe de style dress is a true gem, crafted from luxurious black silk charmeuse and soft blue chiffon. The scooped neckline is edged with delicate leaf-shaped lace, while sheer chiffon panels run down the long sleeves. Silk ruffle cuffs, finished with sweet bows at the wrists, add a romantic touch.

The classic robe de style silhouette features a drop waist and hidden boned panniers at the upper thighs, giving the skirt its graceful flare—an elegant nod to 18th-century fashion reimagined through a 1920s Art Deco lens. Cascading black silk ruffles overlay a blue chiffon base, each edge finely trimmed in metallic thread. The dress slips overhead with a discreet snap placket on the left and a hook-and-eye closure at the waist for a secure fit.

Condition:
In excellent condition with no major flaws. One pannier has been re-boned, as the original feather boning had cracked, and the elastic in both has been replaced. The blue chiffon, likely originally black, has softly faded to a rich navy—adding character without affecting wearability. Professionally hand-laundered and ready to wear.
